David commenced his career in leading UK and Australian Advertising agencies, where we worked for 7 years in senior account service roles. David switched from agency lead to client side, first with Blockbuster where he was Marketing Director in the UK & Australia for 4 years before joining Officeworks as Marketing Director, where he worked for 5 years. From Officeworks, David moved to Target, working with both the merchandise and marketing teams as head of strategic brand initiatives. With considerable retail and now apparel experienced, David joined Pacific Brands as General Manager of Marketing driving the expansion beyond wholesaling into owned retail store and ecommerce channels. David then rejoined Wesfarmers as General Manager of Marketing at Coles, leading the marketing team in Coles Liquor for 3 years.
David has worked with the leading global business consulting and advertising firms through the various transformational roles that he has led over the last 10 years.
David has a degree in Economics, an MBA from RMIT and attended the prestigious Babson College in Massachusetts, where he studied Strategic Retail Management.
